About Us

Welcome to Multiverse Flame, a self-owned small business that specializes in fandom-inspired candles and perfumes. The shop idea originally started as I couldn’t find any (or many) candles based on my favorite fandoms, so I thought why not make them myself.

After months of testing with different waxes, wicks, and even scent combinations, I think I've made the right candles and I'm now expanding to perfumes, which I couldn't be happier about. My one goal is to make you guys happy and even more comfortable with your comfort fandoms. And don’t worry, more ideas are constantly being thought of.

Meet The Team

Jan (They/Them)

Hello, I’m Jan, the creator of this business. Now, this business wasn’t planned at all, I didn’t actually know what to do with my life. I had tried lots of things in my life including writing, but things like school and work kept getting in the way, so those ultimately went nowhere.

Growing up I started watching a lot of youtube and TV online. Since my family moved from Canada to the Netherlands when I was a preteen, TV was one thing that I missed a lot (TV in English at least). I remember coming home from school some days and searching all over the internet to watch the latest episode that came out the day before. Youtube was also amazing as it was something fun and quick to watch that would never fail to make me feel better.

It wasn't until one day in 2019 when I found out fandom candles were a thing, and I was hooked. I immediately searched for different candles to see if I could find any from my fandoms. I did end up finding a few, but not many. It wasn’t until 2020 that I got the idea to make fandom candles. I thought after a year I would be able to find more candles based on my favorite fandoms, but still no luck, so I thought “why not make them myself”? I started off small with only a few shows in mind, but then my list grew as I got more support and suggestions from friends.

In between working, I was off to the side practicing and testing candles at home to make sure I was giving you guys the best I could offer. It took a lot of time and effort, but I’m quite pleased with where it’s gotten me today.
